Interesting. I wonder what's the architectural design concept behind it. What's the name of the complex?

The complex is called The Habitat and was featured in the 1967 World's Fair in Montreal. I feel fortunate to have visited. I believe architect Moshe Safdie's model, or concept, was to rethink the footprint of affordable housing. From what I understand, each unit is merely stacked (by crane) in a thoughtful arrangement that gives each occupant a relatively clean site line when looking out from their apartment/unit. I guess you would have to ask the occupants if he succeeded in his design. Looks cool though.
