The figurative work in the photo is a parody of sculptor Auguste Rodin's, Man Walking. This version features a drawn/plywood head fixed upon a sloping three foot steel rod. Egyptian reeds were later added and bunched around the steel rod, not to hide the support, but to breathe some new life into an otherwise static work. The addition of the reeds warrants calling this piece, Man Wading in Grass, or, Man in Bushes. Regardless--it's funny, and playful.
